<p>An independent professional services firm in Central London is looking to appoint a Senior Employment Associate to play a pivotal role in its expanding Employment team.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a genuinely senior opportunity offering autonomy, high-quality work and meaningful influence over the direction of the practice. You will act as a trusted adviser to a sophisticated employer client base, ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to international groups, delivering commercially astute and pragmatic advice across the full spectrum of employment law.</p><p><br></p><p>What makes this role distinctive is the firm’s multidisciplinary structure. You will collaborate closely with Corporate, Tax, Immigration, Insolvency and Accountancy colleagues, providing integrated, commercially intelligent solutions. The environment is grown-up, supportive and refreshingly free from unnecessary internal politics.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You will advise predominantly employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Complex disciplinary and grievance processes</li><li>Redundancies and business reorganisations</li><li>TUPE and business transfers</li><li>Employment Tribunal litigation (unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract)</li><li>Senior executive exits and negotiated settlements</li><li>Restrictive covenants and post-termination disputes</li><li>Drafting and advising on employment contracts, service agreements and policies</li><li>Ongoing HR advisory support</li><li>Employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructurings</li><li>Employee incentive arrangements and share schemes (working alongside Corporate and Tax specialists)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>You will manage Tribunal claims from initial strategy through to final hearing where required, supervise junior lawyers and trainees, and take an active role in business development.
