TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking an Atlassian Forge Developer to help transition an on-prem Atlassian team to the Atlassian Cloud. The role involves developing and customizing plug-ins, improving Jira and Confluence tools, and collaborating with technology teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, document and implement technology solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
Serve as technical resource to develop, test and implement new capabilities, or operational improvements
Resolve technical problems using analytical problem solving methods/techniques and associated tools/devices
Develop complex scripts and automations using Groovy language and Atlassian ScriptRunner
Work productively in performing activities. Accountable for successful and timely completion of all tasks/projects
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle
Skills
Atlassian Forge development skills
Experience with customization of Atlassian products on-prem and in the cloud
Development and creation of plug-ins with Atlassian Cloud
Proficiency in Node.js
Ability to work collaboratively with technology teams
Experience in designing, engineering, and implementing technology solutions
Improvement of Jira and Confluence tools for productivity and efficiency
Development of automations, scripts, and integration for Jira and Confluence
Experience with Groovy language and Atlassian ScriptRunner
Analytical problem solving methods/techniques
Understanding of corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies
Proficiency in JavaScript
Understanding of serverless architecture and API integration
Proficiency in frontend development and CLI usage skills
