The National Director, Finance, will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer in determining long-term financial goals and developing strategies to achieve the financial objectives of Coach Across America. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected organization.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">The National Director, Finance, will manage the finance department of the organization, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, bookkeeping, financial grants management, produce financial statements and reports, and advise the senior management team on financial decisions. Single Audit (A-133) experience is a must.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; periodically update the organization's accounting manual.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Responsible for upkeep and management of all bank accounts and lines of credit.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Remain up-to-date on best practices in nonprofit finance, business systems, and internal control measures, and state and federal law regarding nonprofit operations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, no more than 10% of your work time.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Other duties as determined by your supervisor.</span></li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">Government Grants Oversight Responsibilities</span></p> <ul> <li><span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Prepare all quarterly FFR and year-end reports</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Review monthly timesheet allocations</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Review and Submit Monthly PERs for 4-6 Government Contracts</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Perform monthly drawdowns from Payment Management Systems</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">All Single Audit schedules and SEFA preparation for annual audit</span></li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA/CPA preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">5+ Years Experience with multiple AmeriCorps/Federal grants over $2M is a must.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">5+ years of relevant work experience as a Senior Accountant or equivalent.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Experience in nonprofit accounting is required (revenue recognition, 990 reporting, A-133 single audit experience a must).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Working knowledge of OMB, GAAP, audits, and other regulatory requirements in the financial field.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Expert computer skills, including Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Fund-EZ (or similar automated accounting software).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Must be able to work on a team, but also be extremely self-motivated.</span></li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">COMPENSATION</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year</span></li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
