We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.<br><br>As a Manager, contract Mfg you will support and manage regional execution of the designated category, accountable for all sourcing strategies and implementation. Support in developing alternative sources, including low-cost countries, and use category spend globally, with a focus on cost efficiencies, product quality, innovation and the most effective supply chain models. Supplort in developing and implementing new products, processes, standards or operational plans to have an impact on the achievement of functional results.<br><br>You will report to the Principle Categroy manager for the assigned categroy. Fully remote role.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Assigned category - Contract manufacturing, PCBA's and cabinet assembly</li><li> Regional relationship owner for regional suppliers within assigned category </li><li> Manage the segmentation of assigned spend into sub commodity groups to create levers to achieve our goals at a regional level </li><li> Support the development of an overall category strategy to meet organizational goals by improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while securing supply continuity through identifying and mitigating current and potential risks and opportunities in the commodity plan. </li><li> Lead the execution of the category strategy through preferred supplier list (PSL), “right-sizing” non-preferred suppliers, and rewarding preferred partners with business awards tied to Long-term Agreements (LTA) with year over year improvements in cost, delivery, quality, service, and profitability. </li><li> Review analysis from PowerBI and other tools to create insights into the drivers of assign commodity and possible effects to spend and cost projections to use as levers with our supply base. </li><li> Conduct regular business reviews (SRM) with main and strategic regional suppliers with teams and senior leadership. </li><li> Create presentations for supplier relationship management reviews, commodity plans, risk mitigation proposals, 4-Blockers, and supplier/commodity gap analysis. </li><li> Create a plan to deliver annual our results against metrics of payment terms, on-time delivery, productivity, inflation, and other metrics as determined by Procurement Leadership. </li><li> Research, track, and communicate industry trends, best practices, applicable indices, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for innovation, competitive advantage, and increased overall productivity </li><li> Develop a productive working relationship with peers on other teams: Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement </li><li> Reports to the Principle Category Manager <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience </li><li> 3+ years experience in category management or commodity management </li><li> Knowledge of managing contracts <br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Westinghouse?<br><br></strong>We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
