What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Conduct interviews and screenings to determine patient eligibility for various health resources - Assist patients and families with the application process for Medicaid, Medicare, and other programs - Provide effective communication with patients and families regarding application updates and required documents - Collaborate with team members and external agencies to ensure high standards of customer service - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in all interactions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Knowledge of Alaska Tribal Health System and Alaska Native culture - Experience with health payer resources and application processes - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently - Experience working with vulnerable populations, including terminally ill or homeless patients
