Job Summary

As the first point of contact for our practice, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and creating a positive, professional experience for every patient. You’ll be responsible for greeting patients, managing scheduling, verifying insurance, and supporting both clinical and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients and visitors with a professional and friendly attitude
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out process
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
  • Confirm appointments and maintain accurate scheduling for providers
  • Collect and post payments, handle financial arrangements, and present treatment plans
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and documentation
  • Support back-office team with coordination and flow
  • Keep the front office organized, clean, and running smoothly

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year dental or medical front office experience preferred
  • Familiarity with dental insurance and treatment coordination a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning dental software (Open Dental)
  • Positive attitude, team player, and professional appearance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
