We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our client’s team in Calgary for a permanent position. In this role, you will manage collections activities, perform credit analysis, and maintain strong customer relationships to support effective account management.Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of approximately $20M and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend strategies for resolution.Review credit applications and assess customer creditworthiness.Recommend credit limit adjustments based on payment history and account performance.Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies (short payments, unapplied cash, pricing issues, returns, tax adjustments).Post A/R cheques and ensure accurate payment processing.Maintain strong customer relationships to support collections and resolve disputes.Monitor aging reports and prioritize overdue accounts.Collaborate with internal teams and provide updates on collection activities and account status.
