<p>We are seeking an experienced and ambitious <strong>Carpentry Working Foreman</strong> to deliver high-end luxury residential projects across London. This is a hands-on role suited to a highly skilled carpenter who is confident leading from the front while maintaining exceptional quality standards expected on prime and super-prime residential schemes.</p>
<p>You will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest finish.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul> <li>Work hands-on as a lead carpenter on site, delivering high-quality first and second fix carpentry.</li> <li>Oversee day-to-day site activities and coordinate labour and subcontractors.</li> <li>Report directly to the Project Manager, providing progress updates and programme feedback.</li> <li>Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme.</li> <li>Maintain exceptional quality control standards across all carpentry and associated packages.</li> <li>Manage materials, site logistics, and deliveries efficiently.</li> <li>Enforce health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised site.</li> <li>Supervise and mentor carpenters and apprentices where required.</li> <li>Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and sequencing discussions.</li> <li>Assist with problem-solving and technical detailing on bespoke elements.</li> </ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul> <li>Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter within luxury residential projects in London.</li> <li>Strong hands-on carpentry background (first and second fix essential).</li> <li>Experience running projects or packages while reporting into a Project Manager.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and detailed joinery specifications.</li> <li>Strong organisational and leadership skills.</li> <li>High attention to detail with a passion for delivering premium finishes.</li> <li>SMSTS or SSSTS preferred.</li> <li>CSCS card (Blue or Gold minimum).</li> </ul>
