Our warehouse is located in East LA (near Cal State LA University)
Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver/Warehouse Puller to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and supporting warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, warehouse work, and equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
This is a Contractor role.
Duties
Our job has two (2) primary duties: Box Truck Delivery Driver & Warehouse Puller.
Safely operate box trucks for local deliveries, route driving, and load & unload activities
Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
Assist in pulling orders from the warehouse to prepare for delivery or shipment
Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while providing excellent customer service
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Support warehouse organization by moving inventory as needed
Follow all traffic laws and company policies during route driving and deliveries
Assist with heavy lifting tasks and manual moving of products within the warehouse
Experience
Prior experience as a delivery driver, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles
Warehouse experience including order pulling, inventory management, or material handling
Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license suitable for box trucks or similar vehicles
Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently
Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adherence to safety standards is highly desirable
Maintain good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures.
Perform other duties will be required as needed
