DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Performing accounting functions within QuickBooks Online and other platforms</li> <li>Ability to determine effect of accounting transactions based on an Accrual or Cash Basis</li> <li>Prepare the initial draft of monthly financial statements</li> <li>Lead the month end close process</li> <li>Maintain supporting Balance Sheet schedules, for example: Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, Fixed Asset Schedule, Payroll liability reconciliations</li> <li>Prepare and record month end journal entries</li> <li>Compete the full cycle duties for A/R and A/P</li> <li>Prepare and review payroll</li> <li>Prepare and review Sales Tax</li> <li>Primary communicator with clients</li> <li>Reviewing team member’s work; support Controller in coaching and training less experienced team members </li> <li>Setting up new technology integrations and troubleshoot any issues </li> <li>Partnering with a variety of vendors and platforms to complete accounting operations (e.g. expense management software, payroll providers, etc) </li> </ul> SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Experience working with multiple clients / entities (>5), across a variety of industries to deliver bookkeeping or accounting services</li> <li>4+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience</li> <li>An Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; or bookkeeping certification</li> <li>Proficiency working in QuickBooks Online</li> <li>Proficient with accrual accounting, consolidated financial statements, revenue recognition, and executing the month end close process </li> <li>Analytical thinker that is skilled in creative problem solving and using independent judgment</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and finish projects within a specified timeframe</li> <li>Enjoys engaging with clients</li> </ul> <ul> <li>High level of comfort with leveraging tools and technology to collaborate with remote team members</li> <li>Reside within a state where we are established (Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota).</li> </ul>
